90s Metro Rallycross Action from Mondello Park

I enjoyed regular visits to Mondello Park during the early 90s for the Rallycross action and we never went home disappointed. 
There was always close ( sometimes too close ! ) racing to enjoy with the trio of Dermot Carnegie, John Maloney & Dennis Biggerstaff putting on a top class show for the fans.
Here are some of my favourite shots of those boys in action, along with a few other Metros.

However, they weren't the only Irish Metros to compete in the Rallycross as Lloyd Spendlove was always in the thick of the action with his machine.
