This blog contains some thoughts and some photos I took.
Outside of my family and friends, my main interests are Ardee, cars, motorbikes & photography.
If those things don't interest you then you’re probably wasting your time going any further.

05/05/2019 - 2019 VJMC Show
The VJMC Show is always one of the highlights of the year for me and even though today's visit was short, it was really well worth it. There was plenty to see and some nice bikes too.....

02/03/19 - The Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show
I had a quick run around the show this morning, it's always worth a visit and this year didn't disappoint. The Honda NR750 was the star of the show for me, but seeing Barry Sheene's bikes there on the Kells Road Races stand was a close runner up.

10/02/19 - NI Motorcycle Festival
Myself and Fintan took a trip up to the Eikon Centre in Lisburn for the NI Motorcycle Festival with the thought that its good to keep an eye on what's on offer to the current generation of bikers. It's 8 years since I sold my last bike, a 1983 CX 500 Eurosport. However , I was drooling at the mouth when I laid eyes on the new Suzuki Katana, it cut me like a knife ( pun intended ) . I'd seen photos of the bike over the past few months but they don't do it justice. I know Suzuki are just raiding the parts bins and building a bike around a softened GSXR1000 engine, but they did a fantastic job. It's every bit as much of a head turner as the original machine that was launched in 1981.

25/01/19 - Newcastle Classic Car Show
We took a spin up to the Slieve Donard Hotel for the Newcastle Indoor Classic Car Show that is on from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th. There wasn't a space inch of space in the ballroom, it was filled with a fantastic display of some very high quality classic & vintage vehicles. There was everything from one of Joey Dunlop's NS250 race bikes to the likes of a fantastic yellow, yes I said yellow !, Massey Ferguson 35 which was parked beside a gorgeous Ferguson 20.
